Actually thats the way they factory doorlock works. It will only lock when the door is closed to keep you from accidently looking your keys in your car. So dont worry fella its all good!
no man! it sound's weird now! and it's kinda loose.. i mean the locking thing itself.. i tried to look at the other door and the lock isn't that loose.. that's why i haven't chaged my passengers side speaker yet because im afraid i might f@ck that up too!
pull your door handle on the inside of your while holding that out press your lock button. that should do the trick. When i first did a set of speakers in my honda it was the first time I had ever done them. I thought I screwed it up to but I didn't
pull your door cover back off. I had this same problem and there is a small metal mount sticking out from the door. There are two white plastic pieces under the actual lock that sticks out of the door, the plastic piece on the bottom is flat, and the top piece is rectangular. You need to wedge the mount in between those so that it is held securely. Hopefully you understand what I mean. The thing about this though is that it is hard to put the door cover back on without the lock coming loose from that mount, so you have to be carefull and try many times before you get it right.
