01 Up Civic Headlights vs. Acura RSX Headlights (conversion)

I was taking and look at the acrua RSX headlights and comparing them to the civic headlights (7th gen). They seem similar in a way and seem like not much modification will be needed. Obviously there is some mod like the bottom (tear drops) and things like that. I know the lights werent made for the civic but has anyone done this conversion and what do you guys think.

Could you possibly swap out the frotn bumper from the RSX and install on a civic with some slight modification? That way you wouldnt have to do too much work to teh light housings to make them fit.

Maybe someone with an RSX can help better?

i was thinkin about that conversion too becuz i like the front body kits that the rsx has. i would think u change out the whole front end for it to match, or maybe just the lights and front bumper. im not sure how well the fenders are goin to be, but the lights on the top seem almost the same shape for it to fit the fenders

I actually though about doing that as well. At first glance, it ALMOST seems as though all you have to do is cut come holes in the bumper to get the curves for the lights.

Thats what I wash thinking to. Just cut the bumper where the tear dorps on the rsx lights are. It is urethane so it shouldnt be that hard. If I could get my hands on the rsx lights I would do a fitting and see whats up.

also if you look at the civic headlight compared to the rsx headlight, it seems like the top mounting bracket is in the same place.

It would be interesting to see the Ings body kit on a 7th gen. Dunno how the everything is gonna match up but it would be interesting at the least. . . .
