What did you guys use, who painted their headlights....to cover off parts you didn't want to paint....Just tape? what kind of tape...

Also my headlights were a bish, the so called philips screws were not really phillips and i had no bit that would fit...I ended up taking the cordess screwdriver and torqing it to the screw and unscewed it like that

Just use some safe release masking tape that is not too sticky to remove so it won't peel the chrome off. Were the screws torx head? Did they have what looked like a star pattern?

Look at the pic, i taped up two parts....I wanted to make it look like the concept R civic with the orange piece still in. Think i should leave the orange out?
Or try both ways paint it twice....

For future reference, when you have to mask off curves, pick up something called thin line tape. It works perfect and that's what I used to mask the edges of my tails. It curves so that you don't have to mess with cutting a piece of masking tape perfectly or cutting a thousand pieces of masking tape. This stuff will bend without krinkling up on you, it's good stuff.
