Those whistleing sound?
i went to couple of meets, and some peeps at the meet had this thing where it seems like they push a button and the alarm siren whistles or something. Is this a easy DIY to your existing alarm? or do i need to purchase something for this? does anybody know anything about this?
All you have to do is buy a whistling horn from some place like JCWhitney or some other place and install it and you can hook it up to a button and you can whistle at all the fine women when they walk by

We'll help you install it... all you need is a siren, some wiring, and a push-button switch. Less than $15 all together.
a MUST have for us Socalians.

The only hard part is getting the wire thru the firewall.. it's a biatch.

hey ak or anybody, can i use my existing alarm siren? or do i need to get another siren? right now i have a hornet alarm siren, can i use that? and if i can, then can someone tell me a brief diy? like what kinda switch i should get and how i to hook it up and stuff? and going through the firewall is no problem.. been through there couple of times already... installing the underboyd kit and all.... just need to know what kinda switch, the push switch that goes in slightly when you push in, and when you push in again it pops back out? that kinda switch, or one of them switch where you just push but doesn't slightly go in at all?, and also i'm guessing there are going to be two wires to hook up, where do i hook up these two wires... stuff like that...

Yea, i already talked to you on AIM, but some people might wanna know.
You can use your alarm siren and you will need a "Momentary push-button switch" (which can be found in Radio Shack for $2-3).
I will be posting an easy DIY w/ pics and part #s this weekend or next.

you dont really need to run the wire through the firewall. just locate a 12V constant or a 12V ignition lead from your fuse box. if it is used, then use T-taps. it is used for a short moment, so t here shouldnt be any major concerns of drawing too much energy. run the 12V lead to a fuse, then to a momentary switch.. and then to your alarm's horn 12V output wire. everything can be taken care of underneath the dash.

Yup, i forgot to mention that you can use any 12V source instead of the battery.
