DIY muffler install

I'm about to order the Ractive bolt on exhaust and I was thinking I could put it on myself, would it be the same as the magnaflow DIY or different because the magnaflow is cat back and the ractive isn't?

I think your just thinking of a universal exhaust that he has to weld on if its a catback I don't think there is any welding that has to be done. I might be wrong.
