Pull hard on the black thing after you take off the top two screws. The rest unscrews. I tried grounding my wire where civicvtec1ps did, but sometimes it doesn't work. I ran the red wire to the ignition fuse so they come on when the car comes on. The black wire I ran to the side of the dash, under that triangular piece next to the vent near the door. There is a screw under there that my stuff is grounded to. I wish I could take pics for ya but my car is buried in snow.

the easiest way i found to do it is to take two small computer flat head screw drivers and stick them underneath on both sides of the black piece. This requires two people. One person to hold the screw drivers in place and then one to pull from the top. It will pop out if you pull hard enough, and it shouldn't break.
