DAMN TRUNK!

Is it just my car on 03 EX or is it on all 7th Gen's I tried searchin but didnt know where to start....ummm its hard to close yah? I mean not hard as in like u need muscle jus seems like u have to slam that damn thing....from the first day we got it off the lot the dealer man couldnt even close it took him like 4 tries lol let me know guys...seems like something is in the way of the lock when u close it

it happen to me before when i first bought my car i had to slam that bitch, but now i dont have to, i guess i got stronger haha

i have an 02 dx and my trunk is pretty damn easy to close, just a little nudge with your pinky and it slams shut

Same on my 03 ex it takes a good slam to close it.

there was a post on this a while back it had to do with slack in the cable for the trunk release u can take it to the dealer and they will fix it hope this helps it was supposedly a prob on some 01's also[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]

I would watch that, I had the same thing and even though I didn't slam it the silencer in the lock got torn up in less than a year, have to get a whole new locking mechanism cause they don't sell the silencer seperate, it is under warrenty so I am not mad, but just a heads up.
