Does anyone think this will look weird? I have 5% on my back windows and I was thinking of getting the front 2 done on my silver ex. I'm not sure if I should get 20% or just go ahead and get the 5% done on the fronts.

Opinions?

better check with local laws and see how dark you can go. i think 5% is too dark on the side windows for any state. i could be wrong tho. i know here it is 35% on side windows and anything on the back. as for it looking wierd, i dont like the look of different shades, that is why im getting 35% all around, but to each his own

right now i have 35% on the front and 15% on the rear..... but if i was going to do it again i think i would do 20% front and 10% rear

35 and 15 is too big of a gap i think... its really noticable during the day..... but, if you go to dark your goin to get stoped all the time

if i were you i would do like 20% and 10% or 15 all around

I had 35% platnium all around, wasn't dark enough for me so Friday I had a layer of 35% charcoal tint put on top of that. Darkened it up to about 20%. Looks really good on my Silver Coupe.

I have 5% all around and I dont notice it there. I wish I had 5% of limo tint. I want darker.

i got 17 percent all around of smoked titanium ... Def about to put another layer... and the legal limit BTW in the state of FL is 25 pecent and NY IS 28 ... if you wanna see what 3 percent looks like check my profile.. the 240 has two layers of 20 ... metered at 3 by daytona pd ...

I have 5% limo in the back and it doesn't seem to be THAT dark, only in the back windshield. I'm either gonna go 20% on the sides or 5% limo on the sides.

good luck with an inspection sticker, this weekend i got by 3 stations cuz of my tint, they're [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] about it, and it's not even that bad, even if you get it done w/in your states requirements, they can change the law at any time, when i got mine done, i wanted to be "legal" so i got front & rear (sedan) at 35%, legal limit, then the back window at 20% (no law at time for rear glass) and my windshield 7" down with 20%, well new laws in MA say 35% all around, and only down to some certain windshield regulation mark in the glass, well since i had a replacement windshield, they passed it, but it took 3 stations before they did, then once the tint was a big deal, they busted my [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] about EVERYTHING

That's the one reason I hate cops. I just got a perscription for window tint from my doctor. can you say 5%

Yeah here in NOrthern California, I just got a ticket for having front
window tint.

The fine was:

$10.00 with correction
$87.00 without correction

when u do tint on the front window...the cops notice right away! dont waste ur money just do it in the sides!
