DIY Short Shifter
i recently purchased a shoft shifter for my 2002 civic lx coupe. could some one please give some detailed DIY insturctions and pictures if possible. i would greatly appreciate it.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

thanks, that helped alot. i just have one last question. do you know how to remove the shifter console to access the shifter?
I spent 1425 points to do this.

the short throw adapter DIY used to show how to take the center console apart, but its a dead link now (among a few others[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]) If i remember correctly- you can just pull or pry the peice of plastic surounding your e-brake, it just comes straight out. then there are screws that hold the whole unit to the floor of the car. hope that helps
