AEM Tru Time Cam Gears
I have to install my cam gears soon and was wondering if i left the black cover the hides it off, if it would harm the cam gears at all because i want to be able to open my hood and have people automaticly see that i have them instead of covering them with a plastic gurad

Yeah man, im pretty sure you can leave that cover off. Ive seen it tons of times where guys have daily drivers and have their cam gear cover off. If you really want to find out, email AEM. hoped i helped.

Okie, first of all I We d17s have a single overhead cam.
This means you only need one Cam Gear. Not two.
Second of all, taking off the plastic over the Cam Gear does nothing much at all. I believe it is totally safe.
Thirdly I am selling an AEM Cam Gear (blue, new in box)
