Beating a dead horse: 7440 LED's
Hey guys...before you flame..I searched.
I just picked up my front turn signals (LED's in amber), and I got 7440's so they would only turn on when signaling.
My question is: everyone says you have to cut the light socket...is there any way of just cutting the lights? I want to be able to put my stock bulbs back in, in case they burn out...
I haven't seen this covered in any other posts, everyone just says to shave the inside of the socket, which I don't want to do.
Has anyone shaved the bulb before?
Thanks!

no pics...I haven't put them in yet.
I'm waiting for warmer weather...
I might throw them in tomorrow.
But, they're the APC bulbs, which I got from a "Canadian Tire" store up here. You can order them from them, or you can order them online at Driver FX. That's the american site...
How well do the stock bulbs fit back into the socket?
I might try this tomorrow if it warms up a little...I have to change my oil too.

That would have been a good idea a month ago when I ordered them
hehehe
I have LED's in the back and already get the hyperblinker effect
I don't like it!
I want to get the flash load balance kit from HZEngineering, but the guy won't return my emails!
Do you guys know somewhere else I can get the load balance kit?
