Prelude SH

BTW this is the first time i've thrown my new baby at anyone, i just hit 1400 miles. I'm stock, and i'm assuming the Lude is too.

I was on my way back from my lunch break, and i end up behind a blue SH (last gen). The car looked nice, no salt (unlike my car ) and tinted windows, stock alloys and exhaust. So we give it only a little because there is traffic around, just to let each other know we're there. We come to the light that i either turn and head back to work, or go straight and it turns into a three lane highway. So i went straight. I'm not too worried about work at this point. So i'm behind him at the light, we're third and fourth. He gives it a little wheelspin on the green, so i figure he's ready to go once we hit a clear patch. There is a straight part of the highway ahead that is level and then rises at the end, so you can see approx 3/4 of a mile. We pass another light, the last before the straight, and we end up gunning it down the right lane (of a three lane, remember). So we slow to about 50 (no traffic) and punch it in third at the same time. I'm a little hesitant to hit the limiter yet, so i shift just south of the redline to be safe. We were pretty even through third, he pulled slightly cause i was drivin like grandpa. when we hit the end of fourth, he was approximately a car, car and a half max ahead of me. I can't really remember cause it was the first time for the car and i was just concentrating on driving and my car, not his. I guess like tunnel vision. Regardless, we got up around 110, i got a great rush of adrenaline. We slowed to 50, he wanted to go again, but i said i had to get back to work, and i gave the guy a thumbs up, he did the same and gave me some third on his way out.

For not hammering the engine, i was happy with the performance, and i must say, i've never wanted to get out of this office and go drive my car more than i do now.
