OKAY
I have been researching for the past week or two and have gathered some good info, but i have a question i hope that it isnt to repetitive to what we have already
I want to get the Neuspeed race springs for my coupe, i have read that the ride is poor, is it worse than stock???
Also what are the best shocks to get with those springs, i have read that the konis can cause probs, and you have to cut the front, so which shocks are best????
Lastly can the ride get better if i get the springs some nice shocks, camber kit and strut bars/anti-sway bars???
i am in need of peoples $0.02, and respect them highly we have some really intelligent people on this site

i dont think you searched well enough cause i know these have been discussed before...
-NO lowered suspension will ride as good as stock. neuspeed race spring's ride will be harsh and i recommend you get both shock and camber kit for it. shocks should still last awhile but the ride isnt going to be to great. camber kit is a must.
-only shocks available now are koni inserts. tokico's are supposed to come out soon. when? last time i called they didnt really have any dates.
-springs and shocks are what gives a good ride. bars(well they kinda do but not in the sense of what springs/shocks do) and camber kits dont...

i dont think tein flex are out for our cars yet. it should be out soon. but if you cant wait, you could use the ones for the SI's... thats what aswzero got. he had to cut a lil peice of the hood tho. just to let you know they run about 1,600k. you might have to order some special set of springs tho cause the teins only lower around 2" the most. aswzero said you can get a set of 1" shorter/stiffer springs for free from tein... an even better setup would be JIC FLT-A2's.. these arent out yet either but should be in the 1,600 range as well.

i'm personally waiting for the h&r cup kit. it should be about $600. its height adjustable and damper adjustable. i dont think its height adjustable like a true coilover but still, for $600, you cant beat...

ya i should have locked this but whatever.. i let things slide sometimes...

naw the B&Gs are the ones with the self-adjusting damper. it runs about 1100. its "competitor" is the tein ss. you get to adjust the damper yourself. only thing is it doesnt drop low enough for my tastes. only like 2" the most. there are both advantages and disadvantages to self-adjusting damper vs manual setting.

i'm not 100% sure about the facts on the cup kit cause i get conflicting/unclear answers but from what i know.. they are basically a spring+shock designed to work together. like the konis, the shock has an adjustable damper and like the rear koni's it has a "height adjustable" perch. advantage of getting cup kit vs koni+spring setup would be, the cup kit comes with shortened shocks while koni's come with full length. imagine this... you have konis, you slap on 2" lowering springs and now the konis are compressed 2" all of the time. this causes extra stress on the shock giving you a worse ride and a higher chance of the shocks blowing. since the shocks are the cup kit are designed to work with their 2" lowering springs, the shock rod is shortened 2" or so so what you retain full stroke and dont add on any extra stress on the shock.

JIC-Magic is NOT going to release anything for our cars unless it is for the Si. They only concentrate on the performance model Hondas, namely the Civic Si and the RSX. You could still get their suspension for your car... it will fit.

Why doesnt anyone mention H&R coils? I know Options Auto Salon sells it. They run about the same price too. You should get the adjustability. Its worth it. I can go from a smooth ride to a rough sporty ride any time I want to. The Flex's on the softest settings are very luxurious.
