Hmm well I haven't done it yet...but can you give me some info on the problems you went thru..and the steps you took when you did it...thanx a lot man....well this is the info that I got about how much to cut....
-Measure the distance from the top of the strut insert to the bumps on the side
of the insert
-Take this measurement and subtract 7mm from it. This is the amount that you
need to take off from the top of the factory strut.
