Any one with an auto tran remove there resonator?

Has any one with an auto trany removed there resonator? I was just wondering how it would sound some people tell me my car would sound like crap I just want to hear it from some one who has done it already. I do have an after market muffler but its still quiet i want a deep sound.

u wont get a deep sound by takin off the resonator. I had that done and it sounded like crap in my opinion. If you want the deep sound keep the exhaust WITH resonator and get a cold air intake!!! that will give you the deep sound you are looking for.

Hi,

You feel any difference in accerelation or gains by taking out the cat and resonator, I have an auto too and I was thinking of doing it. What did you do with the o2 sensor on the cat.

no you dont feel any differences when takin that off. you wont feel major gains unless you add a supercharger/turbo to our cars.
