All i have is just a little clicking noise when I go over speed bumps. Besides that everything works fine. I think its smoother than stock when going on flat surfaces. What kinda problems you've got? And what kinda springs you have? I got Tanabe springs

First I had GoldLine springs they started sagging and making noise, then I bought B&G springs they where the best but they were'nt low enough, and as of the last 3 months I've had Ground Control. I just had a Suspension shop install Koni Yellows, front & rear camber kits, front & rear Progess sway bars, front upper & back upper DC Sport strut bars, and front camber plates from Ground Control three days ago. Man I thought I had a nice setup, it road great and handles like a sports car. Just to let you know that I did not have the Koni struts/shocks set to firm. Well the second day into the greatest setup, I start hearing something coming from the right front side of the car and every time I would turn a left corner at 40mph and above my front end would shake really bad. Well it's thursday, I check my right front suspension and my strut is blown.

It really sucks, but life will go on.

Blown? Well, no she it. You know you are suppose to break in the dampers. Every idiot knows you have to break in all engine, brake, and susupension parts. HIDs have a break in period too. You just have to love your car. I left my Tein Flex's on the softest setting for almost a week and that was about 500 miles of driving. Then I set in half way and rode on that for about 300. Now, being 1200 miles later and about a month, I have them on the stiffest setting. You shock is probable not blown, there should be a little liquid that oozes out during break-in. If it is leaking, then you probably crack the seal in the shock. I know the Koni's are rebuildable. Just some options.

ASWZero, I assure you I'm not an idiot but with all the suspension components that I've installed myself (all my cars and all my friends'), I've never read anything in the instructions or articles, etc. that suggests one needs to "break-in" the suspension. Can you tell me how one is supposed to ideally "break-in" suspension and where this information can be found? I would really like to see it for myself.

Thanks.

Sounds like something else was wrong before you blew a strut shock. All a blown seal on a shock will do is allow that corner of the car to bounce much.

My Koni's never said they were to be broken in. I had them set to about 75% firmness and then I turned them down to about 50%, but nothing ever happened to them.
