Flex rear gap w/ pics
This is not really a DIY, but you can call it one. This is how to eliminate the rear finger gap. Here you go. All you will need it a rachet, 14mm socket, 17mm socket, the locking perch wrenches, and of course a jack and some jack stands. This will work if your coils have an adjustable lower mounting perches.
You should loosen all the perches from their lock positions. I am assuming that you already know how to remove the rear strut assemblies.
This is what it looks like installed with the finger gap:

Now you should remove the lower mounting perch by unscrewing it from the shock body:

Once it the mounting perch is free, remove the next two locking collars and replacing the lower mounting perch in its place:

Before you put the strut back on make sure the lower mounting perch is full threaded in.
Reassemble the strut back into place and lower the spring resting collar to the mounting perch. Lock it in place and you should have no gap.
