I hate dealers...burning smell.

WTF!!!!! When we were heading to foxwoods on Sat. night, I got this burning smell going over 80 MPH....most prominently around 100 MPH......so I call the Honda dealer....they tell me they cant look at it because they cant ask their technician to test drive it over the speed limit, and since I am breaking the law when the problem occurs, they cant even pull the vehicle into their bays to look at it!!! WTF!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I made an appointment at the best garage around here to take a look at it, but wtf....I shouldent have to PAY to get a problem fixed while the car is under warranty!!!!!!! THIS IS BS!!!!!!!!!!

On a side note, WTF do they do for the 20,000 mile service? $66? That has to be the most expensive oil change i've ever heard of...so what else do they do for that much $$$? Cause i'm thinking of just taking it somewhere else for the oilchange. And is $33 for a wheel balance a decent price? Seems a little much, but i've never went and gotten tires balanced before.

Sorry, just had to vent.

That is BS you need to go up the chain of command and just tell them that you smell something when your on the freeway, as far as the 20k tune up they do more than an oil change check seals, pressures, oil, fluids etc, things normally overlooked at oil changes

A performance shop might be more willing to help you out.

I'm not sure how old or how much you guys drive your car but I just assumed it was the new engine being broken in.
If Boost has had the same smell for a year then maybe that's not the case.

red dragon, relax. Its a smell, it hasnt affected proformance, i feel/percieve no other problems with this car, and frankly i have a lot more serious issues with my rally car that need attention before a mysterious smell. please only contribute helpful comments to the bord, Lets not make this a flame war m'key?
