Problem with the progress tie/ sway bar
well i heard, that there are problems with the progress sway/ tie bar on cars with a custom exaust, but i was thinking that if my car already has an exaust with custom piping and i already have a stock sway bar(ex), there shouldn't be anyproblem since it is replacing the stock/ oem bar...

er...
no.
people have problem because the progress is 22mm... quite a bit bigger than the stock 12/13mm... and it gets in the way of aftermarket exhaust pippings...
not sure if it'll get in the way of urs... but yeah.

Even the 19mm RSX-S one sometimes hits my DC sports exhaust. U might have the get the piping bent a little to fix it.

I hear that the HKS exhaust fits perfectly with the Progress Group's rear anti-roll bar; there's supposedly an inch of clearance.
Anyway, I'm getting that anti-roll bar first. Then I'll make my own exhaust system and make sure to route the piping in such a way so as to allow for enough clearance with suspension travel and what not...

the thickness is only a tiny bit of the problem. the way the bar is shaped is the big problem. it is bent different than stock.

hey robbclark1 did you have to put a dent in your exhaust to get the rsx bar to fit ? Please let me know as I will probably be giving that one a try.

Don't do that, I would bend the hangers so that the whole exhaust sits higher. That is if you have the clearance with the bumper. You can bend a couple of those to get it to work though. At least it seems like you can...
