Clearing Headlights

ok on christmas break i want to do something so i am going to clear me headlight, i also going to make all the buls (turn and parking) into hyper white. anyways is that legal? i know here in ottawa cops arnt that strict, i have had a blue parking light (that little circle between the signal and the headlight) for a while and no one ever stopped me.

it depends...u can get a ticket if the cop is tight..cause i 've got one b4...
but alot of times they let me go...but clearing the headlight is worth it..
what i would suggest u do is..just leave it the stock bulb..just clear the corner..

so just leave the turn signal the same yellow one, that would work with me[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]

actually, the original bulb is clear, so you'll have to either stick with the original clear or install an amber if you can find one..

the oem bulbs look good when they are off, my suggestion is to stick with them cause they are consistent throughout (as in all three bulbs produce the same colour). this way you dont have to be paranoid about driving around the cops....

guys is this easy?? b/c over my winter holidays, thats what im doing.
is it necessry to take off the front bumper???

later, im guessing its not that hard?
and im guesing i dont have as much screws as the DIY says b/c it was saying to take off the front spoiler etc...

i only have the LX!

yes you're gonna have to take off the front bumper, its a very easy job if you follow the diy, but you have to be willing to put a little force in it while pulling it off, but dont worry, it will come off, just make sure you have all the bolts and screws out. like i said, clearing the headlights is not that hard but you have to be patient....take time and do it right the first time.
