What's a good UC or CSU for a Sociology major?

Just wondering what schools around the south cali area are good for a sociology major..planning ahead bcuz i don't wanna stay in Sac too long. I'm a frosh in college. 18 yrs old

UCLA has a good sociology program. How do I know, well I spent 5 years of my life going to school at UCLA, and I worked at UCLA for the past 2 1/2 years...so I am a lil biased [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Well I dont exactly like UCLA but one of my friends goes there and for sociology I've heard there pretty damn good.

yea i kno UCLA is a very good school to go to but it's kinda hard to get in. What about UC San Diego, Irvine or other CSU's?

UCR isnt that hard to get into...but other UC schools are. i suggest you go talk to a school counselor. that is what they are there for and they are suppose to have all the information you need about other colleges. but you need to pick the school you want to go to. that way you are happy with it and will not want to get out of it and go to another school

UC IRVINE ALL THE WAY. I am in Pierce college right now, and a professor from UCI comes to Pierce once a week to teach Soc... DAMN WILL YOU LOVE THE GUY/CLASS. His name is Professor Chuck O' Connell. HES DOPE!!!!!!!!! it change my life.
