I'm looking forward to the season when I get to San Diego. I guess I'll be going to Big Bear for most weekends since its so close..."ghetto" lol..... Oh well, I think a Mammoth trip once or twice this winter would be okay... Does anybody know how much the lifts are at Big Bear?

lift tickets are 45 at bear. i have a cabin up there so i try to go up as much as possible. i also hit up summit too.. that place kicks ***. the conditions there are soo much better. ive been riding now for about 5 seasons. its bad ***. tranquil too. oh and about skidazzle.. that convention, in my opinion, sucks. i was a promoter for the the convention in Long Beach a couple of yrs back and it was sooo awesome. SOOOO much free stuff and hot chicks. skidazzle is just a bunch of mountain reps and exectives telling you about their mountain. i guess it all depends on what your intrest are.
hope to see you all on the slopes!

i'll probably be hitting up mammoth. got a couple friends that are interested. there some rooms that are 60-75 a night for 4 people if we want to keep things cheap. the whole trip will probably 150 depending on where we stay. damn their lift prices are so expensive tho. $45 for teens and $60 for 19+. they dont even have any specials/promotions. hey whats a nice cheap board to start out with?
i was looking into burton clash but they're around 300.
i'm looking for something around 100-150.
not a beginners board but maybe in between beginner/intermediate. or maybe an intermediate board.
i know k2 and lamar are good.
how are kemper, liquid, and other brands?
oh and the size i'm looking for is around 145-150

not only am i short, i'm just skinny as hell too
. 5'4 about 100 lbs. they dont call me lil man for nuthin. how tall and what size board do you use? oh and usually bigger boards are faster right? cause thats something i'm not looking for, i just want to control the damn thing. i guess i use an even smaller board for that reason too... 150 dont look like a kids board does it? maybe i should get something a little bigger...

Are you guys thinking about meeting and going up to the mountains to snowbord, because I think that would be a great idea. I'm also a really good snowborder so if some of us do go up I could help you guy's out. VNlilMAN, I'm 6 foot and 195 lbs and use a 157 it work's great so you could be good with a 145.

what the f**k... your pants cost $169? daaaamn, them pants better protect my *** when i fall.
what board have you been looking at?
ya we're talking about the size but i am looking for boards that are about $150 as well.
big 5 has ads on lamar boards. i think it one was the invite. you could find some decent boards for under 300 tho. one of them being a burton clash or burton cruzer. cruzer is a nice beginner board that runs around 250-275, clash is kinda intermediate around 300-325. but ya i'm cheap and i'm used to cheap rental boards anyways so i'm not expecting to pay no more then $200 for my board. probably get some cheap bindings but some nice boots tho. hope to get everything for $300.

yeah im 5'11" and ive ridden (rented) a 157... it was coo... you know that to figure out how long your boards supposed to be is by checking to see if when you stand the board up on one end, the other end should come right to your chin... just in case you didnt know
