radio still flashing!!!!!!!!

sup guys i updated my audio system allitle
i put a alpine v12 amp in upgraded the wire from a 8 gauge to a 4 gauge and also installed a one farid lighting cap. OH and upgraded the engine ground and the negitive side of the battery to the fram of the car with a 4 gauge cable too.
now this did help the headlight and all intior light to stop dimming with the bass.
but my radio continus to flash like crazy when i turn the volume up alittle higher how cani fix this?
should i just run a new power cable to the battery to the headunit? or can i hook the power wire from the head unit up to the lighing cap?
or get a drycell battery? cause some one said the battery might be to small to hold a load like that.....
the amp is 500 watts i think and is powering 2 10" mtx 6000 briged..
any sugestions???
Thanks............

okay man sounds like your wiring on it sucks , check to see if there are any wires touching. if thats not the problem pm me back, also you are running 2 10's you should REALLY have went for 12's the price is pretty close and they sound alot better but i guess you really dont to pound to hard b/c your only running 500 watts

my recomendation is 2 12 audiobahn 1100 watt subs with a audiobahn 2000 watt amp with boston acustics 6.5 and 6.9

thats what i have btw i work at a stereo shop so pm of you need any more help

the caps should have fixed the dimming problem when your BASS hits....

Sounds like you need to run your power from the radio straight to the battery and the ground directly to the chasis and as short as possible, that may help!

The stock battery in our cars sucks! I used to have problems with the stock battery, if I had my stereo on for 30 minutes with the car off, the battery would be dead, and that wasn't even at a high volume. I've got an optima battery now and have no problems at all. I had my stereo on for most of the time I installed my springs which took like 5-6 hours, and the car started fine... Get an optima battery, you won't regret it, no dimming at all, and I have the AEM alt pulley too.

Make shure you have a very good ground and a power sorce also if you hear a high pitch noise it means you dont have a good ground...... I have the same amp with the silver and blue reciver the newwer one umm i have not had no probs with is flashing alot it dims slight but now to bad.....I would also suggest that you get your pwer for your radio stright from the battery .,.,.,also try and get a biger cap
