squeking noise from rear of car

i keep hearing a squeeking noise from the rear of the car when im driving at low speeds over bumps and such, kinda sounds like rubbing two pieces of styrafoam together. its not the rear deck thats rattling, this sound is completely different. just recently started noticing it too. i looked underneath the car, and everything seems fine, i dont see any leaks or anplace where this noise might be coming from. once i get around 25 or 30 mph though, i cant hear the squeeking noise anymore. anybody have any ideas or similar problems??

I had that problem with my aftermarket coilovers. some black rubber piece that covered the bumpstop got wedged into the upper mount area. I pulled it out and everything was fine though the noise I was experiencing was more like a creaking

Agreed... I get that same creaking noise when turning corners slowly around parking lots.. it's from my back suspension..Whenever I turn around corners at really low speeds, sounds of creaking come from the back suspensions..anyone know what the cause of this is? or is this just natural?

I have the same focking problem! I went to my dealer twice about this problem and they couldn't fix it! I found this thread about the problem. I'll present this to my dealer and see what they can do, along with my rocking driver's seat and squeaky clutch.

I'm taking my car to honda to fix that problem this friday along with my squeaky clutch and smelly interior. They said they were gonna order me new struts I'll let you know if that fixes the problem.

I thought it was just my car but apparently several of us have the same problem. My squeaking is coming from the rear right. At first I thought it was because I braked really hard the other day when some chick didn't yield to traffic on the rotary. I'll check with my dealership about the problem.

I also had a squeack in the back. Had my son drive around while I went into the back seat. It turned out the rear speakers were loose. tightened them up and squeak went away. May not be your problem, but it solved mine.

IF THE SQUEEK OR CREEK IS COMING FROM THE REAR THEN ITS NOT YOUR STRUTS OR YOUR SPRINGS...ITS A BUSHING ON THE TOP OF THE HUB ASSMEBLY THATS BAD...HONDA JUST CAME OUT WITH A SERVICE BULLETIN TO FIX IT.... THEY REPLACE THE BUSHING WITH A NEW ONE AND IT FIXES THE PROBLEM....SO TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY...BUT IF THEY SAY THEY WANT TO REAPLCE YOUR STRUTS OR ANY OTHER R4EAR SUSPENSION COMPONNENTS TELL THEM NTO TO BECUZ THEYD BE WAISTING THEIR TIME........
