tie-bar installation?
tie-bar installation?
maybe i'm just on crack, but for some reason i remember seeing installation directions (w/ pictures) for tie-bars, somewhere on this site. i searched the DIY and all the folders and couldn't find it. does anyone know where i can find these directions (anywhere on the web).
It's easy... I think this is how it goes. Correct me if I'm wrong.
1. Put car on jack stands.
2. Take rear wheels off (it's easier with them off).
3. Take out two bolts in crossmember. To get them out, you'll need to jack up the brake. Do one side at a time.
4. Put tie bar on one side and adjust accordingly.
5. Screw in the bolts to hold the other side in.
And you're done! It's not hard at all.
