I never thought i'd go that fast, i just took the silencer off and replaced the front wheels w/ 195/50. everything else is stock. How's the 1.7L EX doing in the 1320??

thats actually not fast at all. i've run a 16.03 stock i my 5-speed 2k2 coupe. and sherlock (a member on this site) ran a 15.8 with very few mods. i think a exhaust and intake. its all about reaction time and how lucky you are on that day.

Its hard to believe that you ran that time. A 2000 SI Stock runs 16.4, there's no way your stock civic ran a 16.03

Hwoody ran a 15.8 stock. 16.03 is possible for a stock civic. Where did you get the 16.4 time? From magazines? We all know how accurate their times are....
Remember...you're assuming everyone lives in the same geographic location...and same elevation.

i'm telling you man i ran a frekin 16.03. it was insane. i pissed on myself. i usually run 16.3's n such. i just finnaly had that near perfect reaction time and i shifted well and didn't mess up the beginning. it was a stellar run for me. i'll find the time slip if its still around.

How many times do you have to tell these amateurs that reaction time has nothing to do with the 1320 time. The clock starts going after u roll passed the sensors you just aligned up on to engage the christmas tree. You could sit there for a minute and than go and still get the same time as before. I saw two 2ki civics run and both got 16.8-16.9 best.

IDQcivic should not be trusted
I dont belive it either, I've got intake, exhaust, header, pulleys, cam gear, ignition and venom 400 and at least 100 pounds of stereo equipment in the trunk and the best I did on my gtech was like a 16.1 but I dont know how accurate that thing is....

Like I've said somewhere this summer.......

I've done 16.3 many times with my bone stock ( engine ) 2k2 EX....! I've put a CAI and THAT'S ALL and I've done my best: 16.2 and saw a few Dx 16.8 -16.9....and other Ex doing 16.4 16.6 ..... The driver make a difference...!
I can assume that our car can do a good 16.0 without a lot of mods!!!

well i have the lx and at the time it was bone stock, no rims, no body kit, i took out the rear seats which may or may not have helped and i took out a few extra things. trust me guys its possible if you can get the low low low reaction time. when the yellow turns off i reacted for a moment then left and i just nailed it. try it and see. the first few times i wasn't successful at all. the 100 pounds of stereo equiptment is hurting you man. not that it matters. but you could easily runs a 16.0 without man.
