BOLT ON HP GAINS

Greetings,
I just completed my entire stereo video system and now I want to add horsepower to my sedan. currently I have injen cold air intake w/ k&n fliter,cat-back 3" downpipe and a greddy exhaust. I have a dx automatic sedan, I've already ordered headers and a high flowing cataylic converter. what else would you guys recommend?

Thanks for the advise!!!!

The only other thing that you could really do is start to make your car lighter via carbon fiber hood etc.

Oh and if you really wanna go fast added a whole bunch of decals, THEY REALLY HELP!

my downpipe was custom made at at shop around my town. they charged me $275.00....it really added alot of noise to my exhaust...2 noise pollution tickets already
I dyno tested my ride stock it clocked 115hp right now with my add on's i'm up to 127hp but i really wanna get to 170 without a turbo...i heard adding a intercooler could add 30hp...but i really don't think thats true

Unorthodox or AEM pulleys.
Unichip ecu reprogramming.
Light-weight rims
Iridium plugs
Plasma booster ignition coils
Port and polish
Bore out the throttle body

You still have a few grand to spend, so don't get depressed just yet.

I was reading an article about just adding a inter-cooler system alone (no turbo) can add up to 30.2 hp+. I probably misread the article, or skipped a page? So I'm not to sure wheather or not this is true. Can you guys answer that for me. Can adding a inter-cooler system w/o turbo add that much horsepower if any? I thank you guys in advance for the feedback.

what are the best pullies I can buy for my 01 dx automatic?

I would think an intercooler would help on a non-turbo, but how much would depend on the engine. Cooler air means more horsepower.

Adding an intercooler without a turbo would be counter-productive, as it would actually make it more difficult for the engine to draw air into the combustion chamber... It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why. The closest thing you will find that is effective is a CAI, or a well-placed functional hood scoop and intake system.

Okay.. well..

You have all the bolt ons.. If your running a decently powered sound system stay away from underdrive pulleys. A new ignition system, New camshaft, Unichip, Bored over throttle body, Port work, Oversized valves, new valve springs and retainers. Get rid of the rev limiter....
