Flat Smoked Tail Lights, help!
Ok, so I did the whole smoked tail light thing on an extra set of lights for my g/f's black '02 ex coupe...did 2 light coats of Nite Shades from VHT, and it looks good...not really black, but she didn't want them to match the car, just be a few shades darker than stock...
cutting to the chase, the problem is that the finish is really flat...i put a spray clear coat on them (2 coats of the "glossy" type) but they still are very flat...any suggestions for making them at least somewhat glossy? i read somewhere using a something like 3M Hand Glaze or something of that nature...suggestions please!

try taking 2000 grit sandpaper and sand it down a bit...the 2000 grit should make is shine(alittle). I tried it last time and i noticed that if u take 2000 grit and u sand really fast it'll give a dull look, but if u sand slow and steady it gives it a gloss. just a suggestion, u already spray painted it, might as well sand it down
i was sanding my 1:18 model car and it looks shiiinneeyy...can u say "BLING BLING?"
just make sure u soak the sand paper in some water to make the life of the sand paper last longer
