i just got my octane kit!!!
i just got my octane kit from vis for 350 and it fits great. it came w/ the grills and everything.the front bumper fits really good.its just a little flaw on the upper grill but its ok.the sideskirts fit perfect but i havent finished putting everything else on.the rear bumper is very thick too. heres 2 pics of the front soo far.i will need to get this painted soon. any one know any bodyshops in so-cal that will do a good paint job for a decent price?

well they can do it but not for another couple weeks because they are working on show cars and cars for fast and the furious 2. and they charge 500 bux and w/ my hook up it will be like 400 but the thing is, they suck at paintjobs. it cracks and stuff.

Hey Look awesome but....can someone send me a pic of the thickness of those vis kit....they are cheapper then other kits in fiberglass and I think that it is because they are thinner then the other....!
I had a vis octane in my hand a couple month ago...and mennnn those are a paper sheet thin....is this just the one I had in hand or are they all like this?? Any problem with those after a few month on the car?? I'm not secure when telling other to buy this kit....It look very nice...but does it worth the price? I always think that when you pay it is better to pay only once higher then twice cheapper........!

all the octane kits i've seen dont have the license plate cutout, although i do think there are fake octane kits floating around cause someone said the come in urethene... i know vis doesnt make them, probably some replica.

yeah i have the side skirts. i like how they look but theyre a pain in the as$ to put on so ill wait for jt autostyle to do that for me. and the rear bumper, the holes i have to make for the fitment are slightly off(what do you expect from fiberglass) and the part where you screw the screws in(in the rear fender)are short. ill just have to take a pic and show you guys what i mean. i dont have time for that right now though.someone said mold the side skirts.....?how do you "mold" them? he means mold them onto the car so that it looks like its a part of the car rather then an add-on. definitely not a DIY job. i would guess you have to sand the surrounding area and bondo it.
