i can only say this...aftermarket products usually have more to choose from and not as expensive as the factory parts,in this case ..honda,they might even have better quality than honda, honda just recently offer them and not many consumer were aware of their existence.

yeah, when it first came out i just happened to stop by my dealer to look at the new Si's (before we got them yet), and he showed me the FP, they had one sittin in the show room, i was thinkin, how pathetic! $4,000 for a half inch drop and inch wheels? and the "body kit" which theres nothing wrong with but still.
I got a quote from a dealer in florida for FP suspension only struts ans springs $980 ( dealer says it retails for $2500 ) and $240 for install which totals to $1,220 and will be covered by my warranty. Oh yeah this for 01 EX sedan, advice people do you think this is a good deal.
But they are not covered by the warranty, and I also purchased the extended warranty which should cover the parts as well up to 100k. Some on here said they could get the FP for $600 I was wondering how true that is and if let me know the dealership so I can leverage the one in Florida to hopefully get it the FP+install for $980

alright.. whats so good about a warranty on shocks/springs? only thing i could think of is, if the shocks blow. but keep in mind you probably have a better chance of the stock ones blowing then you do konis. konis should last just as long as your car basically. and you dont get to adjust the damper or the height with the FP package. your just stuck with a mere 1" drop which is hardly even noticable. 99% of the people on the streets are still going to think your car is stock unless if your side-by-side with another civic. i personally dont think its worth it. and 240 for installation? you could get it done for $80. or just DIY.
