Neuspeed Race install question?

Just go my Neuspeed race springs and i'm gonna install them this weekend. My question is that the springs came with
a piece of paper saying that you have to trim the rear bumpstops 1.25". My question is how exactly do you do this?

My second Question is a while back I remember seeing a thread that I can't find right now saying something about having to cut off one of the dead coils on the rear springs for neuspeed race springs if your putting them on a coupe, now is this true or not and if it is how much do you cut off because I notice when I got my neuspeed race that they were the same length as the stock springs.

I just installed my Neuspeed "Race" springs and SPC front/rear camber kits 5 days ago. I cut the rear bumpstops 1-1/4" which is pretty much in half, I used the larger diameter half. The front I didn't cut and it seems fine... Let me know what's up when you are done with your install. I wanna know what your new ride height is, cause I am not pleased with mine- not low enough for me. I can stick an easy one finger in the front wheel gap, and hard to wedge 2 fingers in the rear, so 1-1/2 fingers about in the rear.

Hey there,

Your wheels and tires just aren't big enough. I've got less than one finger gap in the front and maybe one finger and a few hairs in the back with Neuspeed Sport springs. I'm running 18" wheels with 214/40/18 Yokohama Parada Spec 2's.

I tried Neuspeed Race springs when I first bought my car and was quite disappointed with the ride height as well. The ride also sucked a**!
