How to get the panel behind the door off?
I need to get to a couple of wires under the panel that is under the back window on the coupe. They are attached to the trigger button that turns on the dome light when the door opens. I need to tap them so I can get the door lights to hopefully work (all parts have been found, just need to figure out what to do, then comes DIY). Does anyone know how to get that panel off? I might also have to get the door sill off to run the wires underneath it and up into the door. At the least, I need to peel back the edge of that rear panel just enough to get to the back of the switch in the door frame. Also, I think I saw directions for taking the door panel off, but if not, I need to know that too, and anything that may fall out of the door when the panel comes off (ie, the window) Anyone know how? Thanks.

The door is held on with something that is like platic push "thingies" (yeah i know so technical) Anyways the rear panel is almost as simple to come off. You start at the back seat of the car at the top where it curls around into your trunk. Start "peeling" there and you will begin to hear little pops those are the plastic thingies i believe there is like 4 altogether you can't see and three you can. To make it easier on yourself you may want to take out the back seat coz i know the first time was a LOT easier with the seats out. Just look for the screws on the seatbacks in the trunk and go from there. Hope this helps you out... Above all go slow when you rush you usually wind up swearing!!!

well...you can use the DIY for the rear deck removal, cuz the panels needed to come off for that. there is also a "latch" under the armrest thing in the back panels....youhave to pop that open and remove the screw....that is the only screw that is holding it on.

DIY: Rear Speaker Install for Coupe
Follow the steps 1 through 9 to remove the rear quarter panels. Continue to remove rear deck. You guys were leaving out the seat bracket bolt #3 and a plastic push pin #7 behind the passenger seat. I had some trouble getting the quarter panels to line up when I put them back, so take your time and don't break anything.
Not sure why this isn't a sticky yet.
/me yells at Grey! "Hey, how about a sticky?"
