people are going to tell you to search on this topic bc it has been discussed, but the bottom line is, the harnesses will fit, but it is still up in the air as to whether your miles will transfer ont your new cluster, some say yes its stored in your ecu, and other say no it wont, so if you want to try it, the tach will work, but who knows about the odometer.

what odds i figure i can write down what the car has before i install it and if it changes i will add or subtract to know what i am at !!! it might even turn out that i end up with less lol just wondering what should i search for sorry about this!!!
search gauge, gauges, gauge cluster, etc. thats fine if you write down the miles you have if it doesnt work, but if you ever plan to trade in or sell the car, that is a fraudulent act unless the mileage is documented and signed off by either a honda dealership or a certified mechanic

it may be possible that actual milage calculation could be stored in the ecu. however i doubt this. i have changed my cluster and the milage is stored to the chip inside the unit. it is possible to remove this chip, but would take alot of small electronics know-how to do a "chip transplant" just record your milage on the current cluster in your car. The cluster you choose to install will have the milage on it from the previous owner. record this as your new starting milage. in short, keepe good record of where you ended and began. also check with your local DMV. some states may require you to fill out a notorized odometer discrepency form.
