Help Car bogging in the rain, maybe Aem CAI

hey guys, I'm having a little problem with my Aem cai. I've had it for about a year now and whenever it rains and when my cars at neutral sometimes I can feel the car bogging or vibrating kinda funny. I have the bypass valve and when I touched it on one side it felt a little wet. I've already taken off the K&N filter and cleaned it, but noticed a couple dents in the filter. Do you think I need to replace both the K&N filter and bypass valve, again it only does this when it rains,

Thanks,

Joe

hey
i dont think u should drive ur car when it rains man cuz seriously the by pass will only work if ur filter is submerged in water ... it still scoops /sucks water in!

I get that all the time too.. extremely frustrating. Almost embarassing..

I read somewhere that it has to do with the exhaust piping.... but im not sure.

Thanks for the replies. It seemed to start happening after I got my exhaust and headers but only when it rains. It's strange, my filter has a few dents in it so it could be that but not 100% sure. I had the filter on last winter as well and no problem.

Yeah this vibration when it rains has been discussed before, I forget the exact cause of the problem, but I don't recall it being related to the intake. I remember 2k1civic.com himself complaining about this problem, try a search to see if a solution was ever found.
