it snows there right, i heard the salt on the roads can cause the threads on coilovers to seize up so that you cant adjust them anymore. i'm not sure if there are any coilovers out there that wont tho, never really looked into it cause i'm in sunny california. if that is the case, only option for you is springs. since you dont care about the ride, you wont need them expensive shocks. but then when your shocks blow you might want to but anyways... just get springs. as for the drop, i would recommend neuspeed sports(imp best bang for your buck). if not eibach sportlines or goldlines are good too. ride is decent on stock shocks, you dont really have to worry about scraping just as long as you remember to take speedbumps slow/sideways.

Ah, goodie. I was wondering about the salt and the corrosion as well. Although I guess that chromed out threads would stay shiny for a long time. Does anti-sieze compound come in a spray? That would be easy enough to apply. What about moly grease? What exactly is that? How would you apply it?

would those prevent rust? and i would guess you have to apply it every time you adjust it cause the threads might not be greased.

Anti seize compond won' holdup throuhthe winter..specially with slush..the salt will absorb it as it dries and cause corrosion anyway. My friend Pat uses peal'n'seal slicone in the winter..it peels off in the spring..
