uhm...well, the first instinct responce to the thread name was going to be. "under what rock did you just crawl out of??"

but upon reading your question something tells me you dont mean the one in your steering wheel.
i think the advantages of airbags is that you can go lower than with coilovers...i mean like laying on the ground low. but thats for shows only. also, you can change the height without getting out of the car...i dont think you can do that with coilovers. with airbags all you do is flip a switch.

If you like the alternative of being able to adjust your rides height at the flip of the switch. Airbags are the way to go IMO. You want to make sure you get a fast bag setup. Fast bags are equivalent to hydraulics in speed, but they do not give you the option of hopping. No problem, it is not good for your car anyway.

Pros:

1) Car looks real sweet when parked, it sits on the ground.
2) Smoother ride than hydraulics.
3) Genrally cost less than hydraulics.

you can hop with bags... and i think its actually more expensive them hydros... its much safer tho. but ya this should be in the suspension forum... alot has been ask/answered there as well, just search... average price on our cars is 1500-2500.

Okay I need to clear this UP NOW!!!!!!!!!!

You cant hop with bags....and it is almost the same for hydroz. But with air there is much less to maintain, but i'm putting hydros on. DO you get a better ride with air...helllllssss noooo..same with hydros but if you use accumulators it can make the ride as good as stock. My buddy has an accord on hydros and it drives amazing the it dumps to the ground!!!!!! but yeah here's a link to his page...

you cant hop with bags??? i've seen many pictures of cars 2 wheeling it with bags. n yes bags can give you a good ride... lincolns use air bags... they might not be adjustable but they use bags...
