Blinkers not working?

Alright, I took out my whole headunit console in order to get some custom stuff done to it, woo!

Anyways, my blinkers do not work anymore because of it. I once read that when you unplug the hazard button then this happens? What's the truth to it, or did I simply somehow just blow a fuse?

check to make sure your hazard buttons plugged right, that should fix your problem.

It's not plugged in at all. That whole console is removed at the moment. I'm driving with nothing hooked up, headunit/hazards/air controls...

I think I know what's up...

When you have the hazards disconnected, you are openning the circuit with your blinkers. Once you reconnect them, you will complete the circuit and your blinkers will work again.

I don't know if you've ever taken your door panels off but it's similar to that... say you took your passenger side door panel off and disconnected the wires that go to your window button... now say you wanted to roll your window up/down after you've done that from the drivers side door... it won't work cause you disconnected the wires that complete the circuit to your window controls.

I could be wrong but that seems to me to be what the problem is so once you reconnect it you should be good to go.
