what materials are needed for a 6 speaker change/cdplayer/amp

okay, I'm planning on a new sound system by january.

this is what I'm planning to get

cd receiver
6.5 component speakers (front)
a pair of 6.5 speakers (rear)
an amp

I'm being generic about those because I already know what I want to get (it's a secret )

but I'm more concerned about installation. (especially wires)

what do I need exactly??

replies would be greatly appreciated.

diy websites would also be greaty appreciated

60ft of speaker wire.. preferably 12 guage. 16 will do though. Amp install kit. (cheap one) try Knukoncepts, then buy better RCA's..(many out there..as long as their gold plated and shielded. Dash trim kit. Wiring harness. Depending which speakers. Spacers..... Sound deadening matt for the doors and rear deck. Raammat will do great. Raammat . And patients

PM me the speakers I'll let you know exactly what you need

if you wanna be secretive, and general, expect only general answers. if you want real help, ask specific questions. an audio magazine said it best, that there is no reason for secrecy. if anyone isnt creative enough to come up with their own unique and neat idea, then they probably dont have the motivation to steal yours and actually follow through and build it.

let us know what you are actually trying to do, and we cna give you better installation advice.

asking for installation help for wires? i dont know if 16 guage, 12 guage, or 22 guage wire is best for speaker wire. i dont know what power the amp puts out. I dont know if you should run 8 guage power, 4 guage, 2 guage, or 0/1 guage wire for your power wire, i dont know what the current draw is on the amplifier.

your install is a secret? secretive installs are usually crazy and showy, who knows where you are putting your head unit, battery(ies), or amp. length of RCA's may vary. in my own car, if the amps were under the front seats, i could run 2 ft RCA cables to them, the radio is that close. if you have your amps bolted to the top of your trunk lid, and the radio under the hood, your gonna need some RCA cables with some length.

distribution blocks? capacitors? wiring schematics? battery terminals? there are 1001 questions that need answers before we cna give you advice and/or reccommendations that will best suit your system needs and personal taste.
