Well, here's my point of view. Don't rush things when you're looking for something. We were driving on the pike and we were looking for the Olympia Diner. We passed it up and I felt like I just had to turn right away. I braked and turned and I lost grip on the front. I corrected and braked some more, but the entry was rather narrow. I ended up curbing the car. Whoops! Luckily we got out (Havok2k1 and me) and we inspected the damage. It sounded and felt a lot worse than the damage that was actually suffered. A slightly curbed rim and tire and not much else.

Anyway, standing around not doing anything kinda sucked. I wanted the girls to show us around, but they didn't want to get out of the car for some reason? [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

I got to talk with XScarAudio's friend who knew a lot about turbo's. Was an interesting conversation, that is when I got a word in to ask a question. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG] Damn, that kid can talk. He and Havok2k1 had an interesting conversation, at one point I lost track of what was being talked about. Too technical for my blood. Especially since I haven't gone to the strip all that much. You've got mad skills Havok2k1!

It was an OK night, lots of sweet cars. It would have been nice to have driven around a little more, hung out w/ the girls more....

I know dude, I'm sorry! I fixed my tire pressure, so if I did the same sequence again it wouldn't be as bad. It was too low in the front. I had it set up for racing, not cornering. I'm going to be practicing my high speed 90 degree turns in a parking lot till I get it right. I just don't know what the hell happened? I should have just ignored that turn and taken the next U-turn; I shouldn't rush things like that. I was rushing myself. You know, I was thinking... "Oh no, I missed the turn to Olympia Diner! I better turn around now! Ah, here's a turn. Let's turn!".

Yeah, I think the "Just turn around right there in the goodyear parking lot....." phrase was the trigger for me. I made the mistake though. I should have realized that I was going too fast and I should have either tried slowing down before the turn, or I should have ignored that turn and taken the next available one. As I said, I'll have to keep in mind that it's not going to be the end of the world if I don't make a particular turn. I shouldn't risk it.

I'm on Episode 10 of Section 1. I have a whole bunch downloaded, but I need to download Episode 10 of Section 1 before I watch any more. It's the race with the black 32. Well, the ending anyway.
