What's that smell????
I've had my car a little over three weeks now and every once in a while after driving, when I get out of the car I smell a faint burning typw smell. Is this the underbody coating burning off and the breaks breaking in?? I have about 450 miles on the car. Any ideas. Thanks.

I was really zipping around quickly and stopping a lot and was also downshifting a lot as well before I smelled it. Hopefully it was that and nothing major. I know it wasn't coming from under the hood.

Should I just let it burn off on it's own??

it might be burning clutch. It might be because u are reving to much in first when u are starting off from a stop.[hr]

I've had the same burning smell on my car too, but mine now has 22k and it started around 19k. After hard driving, it smells like either I'm frying my clutch or something. It's definitely not burning rubber though. Any ideas?
