ANL or MAXI

so i was lookin at some amp kits, and i realized that AGU fuses dont really go past 60 amps.... both the amps i'm about to buy have 2 30 amp fuses in them so i was looking into the higher power amp kits and came across both ANL and MAXI fuses... any upside or downside to either?? ANL seems to be a fraction more expensive...

Well if your not going to upgrade your alternator just use a 60 amp AGU Fuse .. that way you'll never overdraw. Use an ANL fuse than have a much lower passthrough resistance..

Cheers

will a 60 amp AGU blow with a kicker kx600.4 (only running 300 watts because it'll be @ 4 ohms) and a jbl bp600.1 @ 1 ohm?

Nope it shouldn't blow.. My Brother runs an old PPI2600.2 and a PP2400.2 off a 40 amp AGU fuse...never blew it..

4 gauge amp kit w/ 20 ft of 4 ga wire, ANL fusebox w/ 80 amp ANL fuse, RCA cable, remote wire, 1 in 4 out AGU fused distribution block, and all the little connectors for 38 bucks on autotoys.com... i guess i'll just switch the ANL holder with my existing AGU fuse holder
