Koni knocking

My shop called Koni about this... They first thought it was the springs.

Apparently the bolt on the bottom of the front shocks come loose or off easily.

If you hear knocking sounds when driving slow or doing slow turns, check those bolts. Would be a good idea to weld them on too. Don't think it'd be catastrophic if they come off, but still dangerous...

it's really the bolts, i dont have koni's i have h&r's springs and they knock only when i turn it to the left, like a "pop" could this be due to it twisting the spring??? This is what spain tires told me that the reason it happens is because the spring is twisting, it doenst happen at high speeds tho, only 5mph or parked

If the Koni bolts are properly torqued, they aren't going to come loose. I've got over 5000 miles on mine and have checked them twice, and they still have the original torque.
