Goldlines + Bumpstop cutting

Hey guys...

I was looking for where to cut the bumpstop for the front of my sedan...but doing that entails cutting the whole dust sleeve.

I was a bit scared, but said screw it, and now I have about a 1/4" bumpstop left in the front (it was two inches before, and it said to cut 1.75...)

has anyone else cut their sedan bumpstops? I'm scared I've boffed this up.

any help would be great

are you sure they said cut 1.75" cause that seems like alot. but ya it's all good... you just have a less chance of bottoming out on the bumpstops.

sorry, my bad...they said to cut 1.25"

Their webpage says to cut it 1.25"

It seemed a bit weird cutting the sleeve off, that's all.

Thanks for the reassurance, though. I feel like a complete nerd asking these questions, but I'm glad you've answered
