With stainless steel ones. And washers too.

BTW, for those that don't know... Krepoort lives close by, so I would hook him up next time we meet.

The best solution? Take off the license plate and front bumper. Then put something flat behind the holes for a little bit. Then fill the holes up with bondo or with urethane filling compound (I know it exists, but I don't know where to get it). Then sand the front where the holes used to be. Then primer. Then paint. Then clearcoat. You asked for the best solution, so there you go!

M6 bolts or machine screws. I'm gonna look for some tomorrow. I find it hard to believe you guys are having such a hard time finding them.
I used stainless tag screws on my old car. Those OEM ones are rust magnets.
One thing I did different on my old car was that I used black nylon washers instead of the SS ones. I had vanity plates so I didn't want to have any metal on metal contact.

I'm beginning to think grey spends his time looking for the smallest most obscure mods. I mean first shifter linkage bushings then licence plate screws!!!???
Mad props for the ingenuity though. You should be an engineer or something 'cause of your attention to detail.

Yeah, it's kinda like that. Attention to detail. Also lack of serious funds. If I had $2000 right now I would already have a turbo installed on my car. I can do practically anything if I have the money for it. Unfortuneately I'm inpatient, so I spend my money on smaller things every now and then before I get enough saved up to buy something big. Although I did splurge on rims lately. Not bad. What about the lower part of it though? I've searched everywhere for a license plate frame that's made for only the two upper bolts. I wouldn't want there to just be holes on the bottom. Know what I mean? Then again, maybe I should just make those other two holes and weld on some nuts when I get my welding equipment?

Maybe i'll go get the ones that need a hex key or something to open. they are round, and should look nicer. Plus try looking for parts like this at a HARDWARE store. like ACE HARDWARE or Orchard Supply Hardware(OSH) or Do-It-Center. these are local to me in Los Angeles CA. best of luck
