Man, the adhesive that they used in the Sedan's was like CEMENT!
Here's what I did:
• I put them in the oven at 200F for 5 minutes and they were good to go.
• then I pryed the two main pieces apart.
• took out the amber lens
• put it back together and sealed it again with clear kitchen and bath silicone
• put it back in the oven for another 5 minutes to let the old adhesive re-seal it even more.
• I let it dry for an hour and then I put some more silicone all around.
• wait another hour and put it back together
COMMENTS: front bumper removal was EASY, clearing the headlights themselves wasn't too hard, but you need to be patient with the Sedan's headlights. The Coupe's headlights sound a lot easier.

Pretty nice. Looks like you've got some condensation on the inside of the driver side lens though.
I hope they don't condense. Man, I'd be shitting bricks... and lots of them!
Sometimes, I can see right through myself ...

Hehehe. I feel the same way you do. I really want cleared headlights, but I don't want to go through the trouble of doing it myself, espically if I want to return to stock. I'm buying a set of pre-cleared for $125 shipped. I don't think it's too bad.

to test if you need to reseal them just get a power washer and wash your whole car spray down the headlights too because mine didn't condence until i did that ........and whenever it rained it didn't do nothing so try that and see if you got it sealed properly.....
That's hopefully what mine will look like soon. I have a black LX coupe and can't wait to clear out the head lights. I'm prolly going to go with the hyper white bulbs like you did, the blue looks cool in there.
what?? $125??!! man you must have money to burn if your paying 125 dollars. F*** that.
And here I thought i was getting a good deal selling my cleared lights(got TYC now) for 60 bucks.
Damn 125!!!??

I love the cleared headligts for our cars, FREE and CHEAP MOD, that looks custom. I will have chrome rims, and lowered with TCS exhaust and white neons and Clear lights will compliment my car well!
