is it my guages???

i bought some reverse indiglo guages and followed the DIY but when i turn my lights on, the new guages dont do anything, is it my guages?? anyways i dont know if your brainbox has four male connectors and the guages only have two. are the other two just there?? i installed them and connected everything but still didnt work so i took them out of the guage cluster. tonight i connected the guages to the male adpaters before installing them again and still wouldnt work, any suggestions??

well the guage might not work or there is no power going to the gauges. You can test out the gauges by testing it out off the battery. Get some jumper cables(not for jump cables) and test it out. If the gauges do not work then, exchange them and if they do work, check you connections.

the wires are stupid. i forget the colors but a red wire with yellow stripes almost looks the exact same as a yellow wire with red stripes. maybe you have the wrong wire. i know i did when i put mine in.

There are 2 wires that are black and red. The first is red with a thin black line and the other is black with a thin red line. I tried both with no success. Maybe our batch is crapy?

make sure it is grounded correctly. Place the ground against some metal and see if they work. If they don't then it is something else.
