eyelid painting cost?
eyelid painting cost?
How much should I expect to pay to have my eyelids painted? Also, what did you guys use to attach them? just 2 sided 3M tape?
I also debated having my altezza grill removed and painted. My car is black so you can't really tell its not painted. I'd also have to remove the grill again and the bumper, etc. so i dont get charged the labor for them doing it.

yes use 3M tape. also just check on duplicolor.com or plastikote.com to see what spraypaint they have that matches NBP, then just go to pep boys or something and buy it. use gray primer. clearcoat it. it shouldn't cost more than 10 bucks. you can use the same stuff to paint your grill too. I can't do it because neither of them make a color that matches satin silver yet
I havent seen any carbon fiber eyelids myself, but i'm sure someone makes them or will make them. Your best bet would be to buy the fake but good quality carbon fiber film(folia-tec makes some good film) and make your own eyelids like people have done with vinyl. That way you could have the size and shape that you want as opposed to buying the plastic mugen-style ones. Orrrr...... You could buy those ones(I got em off Ebay) and just take the carbon film and cover the lids with it. That would look nice. There's a lot of possibilities without actually waiting for carbon eyelids to come out and who knows if they will.
