Hey guys I need to buy the console kit for a manual transmission 2001 civic ex. I was going to do it myself but I don't want to mess it up. I have seen 2001 civic that have a console kit in the silver aluminum color. I went to several websites that sell them but they told me they don't have one for the 2001 ex only 2002 ex. Isn't it the same thing? Does anybody know if it is the same thing? Will it fit right. I want the oem one. Can anybody help? If there isn't one can somebody please post a diy because there is only a diy for the center dask piece and not the console kit.

Both H and A Accessories and Honda Werx carry these kits...and there's many more sites out there that do.

The main difference between the 01 and 02 consoles--I think--is that the 02 has a cover for the dual cup holders.

ifyou get one look into the carbon fiber kit , it looks really good installed .
