Neuspeed Sports, Just dropped... Now what? (clicking sound from front right wheel)

Man my car look so sweet... Anyways I'm just worried about the back wheels b/c they are sorta off camber... Where can I get some cheap rear ones? My other problem I notice is that when I'm about to make a turn say from a stop, the right suspension clicks... Will it go away in awhile or what should I do about it? I'm gonna get it aligned soon, but I dunno where either...

Is it really loud or just a little click when you first take off? My car did that and it went away. I think its just the spring making that noise. It should go away. Give it a couple of weeks to settle in.

The first time I got my car lowered I had a clicking sound also.....It didn't go away after a couple weeks, so I took it back to the shop......What happened was the screw on the top of one of my front struts was loose,,,they just tightenend it down and put the strut back in....No more clickety clank.............

I am getting some noise when turning from my springs now. It has been a week since I installed them to the day. It sounds like the springs moving or something. I am replacing the eibachs with the neuspeed sports in a few days anyway. I had an accord that was dropped 2" in the past and has a little noise from one of the rear strut/spring and never tryed to correct it. Nothing ever went wrong. I just feel like the suspension has been altered and it's sitting where it was designed to sit. So, a little noise just might be a side affect. I don't know, just a thought.

I'd pull them out and make sure the top was tight and snug with the spring....

ground controls(along with any other sleeved coilovers) recommend you cut part of the lower perch off. doing this would prevent you from converting back to regular springs later on however.... n people have been having problems with gc's, might want to look into skunk2s. or even true coilovers, those come with shocks.... for more info, please search.

gc or skunk2's cost about $300

actually i did a search in suspension for ground control and it didnt say anything pertinent, all of the three replies told the person who already asked to search, so no offense but i did type ground control in the suspension search, thnx.

you could also try searching for 'gc' or just 'coilover' in general...

You might check out this thread: HERE. I had a same sound, it was unacceptable and fixable. The thread will go into it for you. Good luck.

I sure hope so. My new Eibach Sportlines are doing the same rumbling clicks when starting and sometimes stopping. I just hope it's not a crappy install job that will make me take the car back time and again to get it fixed... That's more like a Honda Service Center thing, shouldn't happen for other shops, LOL.

I just put my neuspeed sports on last night. The rear is much higher than the front. I haven't got any noise yet. I think I am going to put my prokit springs back on and get rid of the neuspeed. I am really pissed. I was replacing the eibachs because the rear sagged too much, but the car looked good. I went with the neuspeed in hopes of getting an even drop but now the front is lower than the rear. The rear almost looks stock. It does ride good though. So far, I would say better than the eibach.

Edit: Well, it looks like it just needed to settle a little bit. It was late when I got finished and only saw the car in low light. I took it for a ride last night to check it out. Very nice ride. I like it better than the eibach so far. You know how the suspension doesn't settle just right after you let the car down off the jacks until the car rolls a little bit, I think that is what happened. It looks even all the way around now and has about a finger gap or so. Here is a pic.

yup mine took about 2 days for the springs to settle in the bushings.... but ya it looks close to stock the first hour you take it off the jack stands. now you know i recommend eibachs over neuspeeds. and the prokit is supposed to be a better ride then sportlines too... neuspeed springs are a similar drop to sportlines yet have a better ride then the prokit. thats why i say to neuspeed. oh and did i mention its $50 cheaper....

Oh, I installed the SPC camber kits when I did the springs too. Maybe that made the rear sit a little high at first because of the new bushings or something.

I'm also hearing some sound from my new Sportlines. It was clicking and popping everywhere until the shop WD40-ed the springs, after which the sound went away.

The problem now is when I turn slowly I hear low rumbles in the front, and when I go over individual bumps from the rear.

BTW, the springs went on Tuesday night.
