HELP! Installing Revo SS when POP!....

I was unscrewing the top-right bolt when all of a sudden I heard a pop! It was half way out when it happened, now all the screw does is turn and I can't get it out. It's still half unscrewed.... What do I do? I've put the whole thing back together, except the screw in question cause I can't tighten it also. IT JUST SPINS!!!!!

Also, how do I remove the second cable? The first one I popped out the clip, but the second.....?

you may have to get bolt cutters if it wont come out. also for the cables all you need to do is remove the pin holding them in.

Peace

I figured that would be the answer.... I just wanted to see if anyone had any other options. I can lift the shifter enough to get a hacksaw blade under if I really do need to cut. Then I'll probably have the drill out the remaining bolt. Hopefully I can find a replacement bolt at home depot.

As for removing the cable (the one attached to the spring), I've removed the pins but can't figure out how to remove it totally fromfrom the shifter. The cable closest to the front had a big metal clip that had to be taken off (which I did), but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the other one.

yea i was really confused too for a sec. to remove that cable your tlakin about....
but all you need to do is twist that black piece holding the cable (not sure left or right but try any) and it easily slides out from the left!
simple as that, but thats not what the instructions tell you to do, which confused me
hope that helps

check inder the car and see if the nut that was welded to the car broke off. I don't really remember what kind of bolts they were, i did mine a while ago and I did it real quick, so i might be way off....but if the nut did pop off the car just get a friend underneeth there to hold the nut, or attach a pair of vise grips and wedge it against something to keep it from spinning then just unscrew it from the top.

I just installed my Revo SS last night. The second cable is easy to remove. Spin the black bracket counter clockwise and then slide it out of the whole.
